INDY PFLAG MEMBERSHIP

Membership in Indianapolis PFLAG is optional. Everyone is welcome at our meetings whether they are dues-paying members or not. We are, however, a member-supported organization, and your dues help us to share information through our outreach and advocacy efforts. A portion of your membership dues is also forwarded to PFLAG National to support national operations. Your membership is powerful!

There are four membership dues types: Individual ($35/year), Family ($45/year), Supporting ($75/year), and Over The Rainbow ($100+/year). Your membership dues makes Indy PFLAG stronger and includes membership with PFLAG National. All donations are tax-deductible.

STRAIGHT ALLIES

In 2007, National PFLAG created "Straight for Equality" which is a national outreach and education project which empowers new straight allies who, unlike a more traditional PFLAG member, don't necessarily have a family connection to the LGBT community.

Part of our membership consists of straight allies in the community who also support our goals. They work with us to

educate the community about issues important to our LGBT family and friends, and to help us advocate for their equal rights. Their membership is vital to our mission and we welcome all straight allies who wish to join our chapter.
